Quick Start Guide

Select Directory

Click ‘Select Directory’ or drag and drop a folder into the app window.

Navigate to Random File or Photo

Click ‘Navigate to Random File’ (⌃⌥⌘R) to open a random file in Finder, or ‘Navigate to Random Photo’ (⌃⌥⌘P) to open a random photo in the Photos app.

Included Files

  • Documents (PDFs, text files, etc.)
  • Images and photos
  • Music and audio files
  • Applications (.app bundles)
  • Regular files visible in Finder
  • Symbolic links (can be changed in Settings)

Excluded Files

  • Hidden files (can be changed in Settings)
  • Files inside application packages (.app)
  • System files
